Please consider verifying your on-chain identity. The reason for this, is that a lack of a verified ID, makes it difficult for all proposals to prove on-chain and to people without first hand knowledge of the team, whether or not they are legitimate. Also, it perpetuates the risk of unknown malicious actors pretending to be other characters with a better reputation in future referendums.
We know that we are in the middle of the People's chain migration but it is expected for all proposals to have a verified on-chain identity.
As a positive we want to highlight that this proposer has already delivered 1 successful Kusama referendum with the OpenGov bots at only 17 years old (according to the spaces and public information).
So we don't want you to feel discouraged by the opposition and potential drama of this referendum and we rather would like for you to take the feedback of other DVs and whales alike and ask what they would like to see first in order to approve your referenda.
As far as we can tell, if this proposal had a smaller ask amount, voters, ourselves included would feel more compelled to vote in favor of the retroactive development of remarker as well as the future support and upgrades. So don't be discouraged and consider asking other voters for feedback privately or through their available channels.
Best of luck and keep on coding.
I am in full support of Ashutosh's proposal after I Remarker was the only solution we could find to mint The Kus' collectables to meet the deadline of an event. It was wild to find that other heavily funded NFT marketplaces were not up to the task highlighting the need for another solution.
Ashutosh is a young and eager dev - this partially retroactive small spend seems perfect to incentivize his ongoing work in our ecosystem.
