I'm in favor of this idea. Incentive always proved to foster innovation.
Something worth considering though:

Since the prize is treasury funded. Shouldn't OpenGov decide on the winners? True recognition by the ecosystem.

I support initiatives like this and would like to see more efforts dedicated to representing Polkadot publicly, whether by BD teams, Ambassadors, or other dedicated representatives.
