In this proposal, we request to top up the moderation team bounty to continue incentivizing authorized Polkadot Moderators for their round-the-clock contribution and support to the communities.

The bounty migrated from Kusama to Polkadot three months ago and has funded the team from August 2023 till January 2024 (3-month retroactive and 3-month proactive funding). 3653 DOT (approximately 24,800 USD) currently sits in the bounty account. You can find a breakdown of spends on the proposal document for this top-up.

The team comprises thirteen (13) members with significant involvement in the ecosystem. This ensures that they are able to keep abreast with recent advancements in the ecosystem and can effectively assist the community as needed. You can find the list of members here.

This proposal requests a one-year top-up of USD 224,640 (32,528.24 DOT) to continue funding the Community Moderators.
