Encode Club Tranche 3 Funding Request
We would like to claim Tranche 3 of a pre-agreed funding (see here) to cover the costs of the recently finished Scalability Hackathon and fund the final stage: an accelerator for 12 of the best teams from the hackathon. This is time-sensitive as we'd like to invite most of the recent winners from the hackathon.

As per our proposal, the funding request is as follows:
Additional Note, Friday 29th August: based on feedback from the AAG on Thursday 28th August, we attach our hackathon project track record within Polkadot here and accelerators here.
Costs further breakdown, we are asking for $128.3kk
- Hackathon Prizes already paid to be reimbursed: $48k (we are out of pocket).
- Accelerator Costs to pay: $80k, split:
Marketing: $7k: Roughly $50/hour x 140h over 8 weeks (15-20 hours per week creating content, coordinating with partners etc)
Programme Management: $40k: roughly $75/hour x 550 h (full-time for 12 weeks providing support for the cohort, doing 1-1s, creating educational materials)
Tech Infrastructure: $3.5k: roughly cost of developer setup and maintenance of Encode's front and back-end (www.encodeclub.com).
Admin: $3.5k: cost of financial and paperwork admin across 12 weeks and pro rata use of subscription-based tooling
Prizes/grants: $26k to fund the 12 chosen teams for their time during the programme, roughly $2-3k each.

Please provide a detailed breakdown of the fund usage. The current proposal’s financial details are too vague, making it difficult to determine how the funds are being allocated. The budget section is overly unclear and requires a clearer version to properly assess its reasonableness.
