This proposal seeks funding from the Polkadot Treasury for SubWallet, covering the accomplished work of SubWallet Browser Extension, SubWallet Mobile App and SubWallet WebApp during the period from Aug 2024 to Mar 2025.

SubWallet is the leading comprehensive non-custodial wallet for the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystems. A. Unified solutions to reduce fragmentation

✅ Unified Account: Seamlessly manage Substrate, EVM, and multiple wallet standards without the need to switch between accounts.

The Unified Account is a major enhancement in SubWallet’s latest update. We have completely overhauled the account management system, moving beyond the previous approach of separately handling Substrate and EVM wallet standards. Previously, users had to switch between these account types, which was inconvenient. Now, as long as wallets share the same Seed Phrase, users can manage them all under a single unified account. This allows seamless access to features like viewing total balances, transferring assets, swapping, staking, and earning—without the hassle of switching between wallet standards. This innovation significantly reduces friction for users entering the ecosystem while also increasing the potential to attract new users from other blockchain ecosystems into the Polkadot network.

🎉 Managing multiple address formats across the Polkadot ecosystem can be a frustrating and fragmented experience for users. To address this challenge, we’ve partnered with the Polkadot UX Bounty team to introduce the Unified Address Format in our extension version 1.3.22.
