Polkadot needs more mainstream cultural exposure, and partnering with Pudgy Penguins is a relatively safe and high-impact move.

The budgets for the other three events are also fairly reasonable and cost-effective. With the Web3 Foundation backing and supporting Mubert’s tech development, this may be a valuable opportunity to connect the “infra narrative” with real-life use cases.

That said, while we support this proposal, it’s important to note that Polkadot is primarily positioned here as a sponsor — actual user conversion remains weak, and there’s no clearly defined path for directing users to SubWallet. Therefore, we recommend:

1. Defining concrete KPIs for collaboration with wallets like SubWallet (e.g. number of new wallet sign-ups);
2. Clarifying the on-chain conversion flows, such as NFT minting or music interactions during the events;
3. Providing detailed user acquisition and conversion analytics post-event.
