Dear @Eiger,

Thank you for your proposal. Our vote on this proposal is NAY.

The Big Spender track requires a 60% quorum according to our voting policy. This proposal has received one aye and three nay votes from ten members, with one member abstaining. Below is a summary of our members' comments:

The proposal received mixed feedback, with one supporter reluctantly voting in favour to honour the commitment made by the approval of earlier milestones. Critics primarily raised concerns about the high cost, questioning whether nearly $2 million was justified for the proposed effort. Some also felt the proposal was premature, given that JAM is not yet ready, and expressed concerns about future maintenance costs. While the potential need for decentralised storage solutions was acknowledged, scepticism about the timing and expense dominated the discussion.

The full discussion, along with individual members' votes and comments, can be found in our internal voting.

Kind regards,

While I too have concerns with pricing, I do see benefits to the ecosystem from it. Added that this is the third tranch of payment my overall thoughts lend towards an aye.
