We have previously considered to just vote on this referendum with our general point of view against incentivized OpenGov content on X. Post our rationale on X and reply to whatever extended rationale was required. But due to current circumstances with respect to this proposer, we would like to raise a red flag against this referendum and this proposer.

First and foremost it seems like it’s more confrontational than it seems at first glance. If you want to be funded by OpenGov please show basic courtesy when interacting with others. After we NAYed this proposal we seemingly have been in the aim of this account which has already leaked our DMs, implied favoritism/nepotism on our side, non-existing alliances as well as seeding FUD against us. We expect for this account to continue this behavior. Probing for alliances and leaking messages is in our view very disrespectful against us and other members of the Polkadot community as it implies a divisive and confrontational view that this account and others like it are creating. We value all the Polkadot community and we don’t want to create or encourage this “us vs them” situation.

After a 2 month crawl of his content, we have already encountered confrontational content against others he perceives as opponents as well.

This type of content or behavior shouldn’t be encouraged. There are surely more cases like it before that but we won’t go deeper into the White Rabbit hole as this already makes it evident that this account shouldn’t be supported by OpenGov and all his content should be read with a big grain of salt.
